Lessons

Practice makes perfect

Lessons are a great way to improve your balance and horsemanship skills, great for the seasoned show rider or someone who just likes to do the occasional trail ride.

Lessons are conducted in a professional manner. Each person's lessons are carefully constructed to suit the rider's and horse's needs; this is especially important as not every horse or rider is the same.  Lessons can be conducted on your personal horse or on your horse that is already in the training program.

Lessons are available in several disciplines: Hunters, Jumpers,  Dressage,  Equitation, and Western Pleasure.  **Western Pleasure lessons are only available on your personal horse.

For students without their own horse, there are school horses available. It doesn't matter if you are new to riding, changing disciplines, or you are on the search for a new horse.

If you own a horse and are interested in training please see our training page for more information.

Lessons Available

Fox Run Training offers group & private lessons using your horse or ours. Lessons must be purchased in advance. See below for rates. Lessons are sold in monthly packages.

If you do not own your own horse, riders are encouraged to lease a horse in order to ensure availability and consistency.

What do you need to bring on your first day?

Everyone must have a completed liability form before their first lesson. Riders are required to wear long ankle-length pants and close-toed shoes to take a lesson. Everything else will be provided if you do not own.
